As an authorized Blue Cross NC partner, we offer Carolina HealthWorks — a great option for NC Chamber-affiliated businesses.

 

What is Carolina HealthWorks?

Carolina HealthWorks is a multiple employer welfare arrangement (MEWA) that brings together North Carolina small businesses so they can access the rate advantages and benefits typically only enjoyed by larger groups.

 

Through Carolina HealthWorks, eligible employers can access a Blue Cross NC health plan with:

  • Competitive rates and flexible plan designs

  • Access to Blue Cross NC’s broad provider network

  • Fixed monthly payments and risk-based pricing that may offer savings compared to standard small-group community-rated plans

 

Who can qualify?

Carolina HealthWorks is available to employers who:

  • Have 2–50 eligible employees

  • Are headquartered in North Carolina

  • Are members of the NC Chamber or a participating local chamber

 

If you’re not yet a chamber member, joining a participating local chamber (or the NC Chamber) can open the door to this program.
